LifePath, Inc. is a non-profit organization. This means that LifePath exists solely for charitable reasons and not for financial gain.

Although the majority of our funding comes from the state and counties, the cost of our services continues to rise as government support dwindles year after year. We rely on fundraising and philanthropic support from both public and private sectors throughout the year in order to continue to provide the highest quality programs and services possible to our clients.

LifePath hosts two major fundraising events annually — the golf outing in August and the PICPA/LifePath Thanksgiving Benefit and Awards Luncheon in November. These events are successful in bringing both community awareness and funding to LifePath, but it is what we raise the other 10 months of the year that is vital in providing for our future.

Gifts both monetary and otherwise made to LifePath are IRS/tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. You will be provided a receipt of your contribution for this purpose. But a gift to LifePath is more than just a tax deduction — it's the joy of knowing that you are changing lives and supporting a worthwhile organization. Bequests (see below) and other generous, thoughtful gifts make an important and long-lasting difference in the lives of individuals with special needs.

For more information about making a donation to LifePath, please contact Ann Marie Surovy, Public Relations and Development Coordinator at 484-893-5539 or amsurovy@lifepath.org.

Bequests and Estate Planning

Bequests are a wonderful way to provide for the longevity of LifePath. Often times, we do not learn of a donor’s intent to include LifePath in their estate plans until after their passing. It is important to our organization to maintain long-lasting and meaningful relationships with all of our donors. If you have included LifePath in your estate plans or are planning to, please take a moment to download the confidential bequest notification form and mailing to: LifePath, 3500 High Point Boulevard, Bethlehem, PA 18017, ATTN: Development Department. Thank you for making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities!
