Super Bowl and Rose Bowl championship winning coach Dick Vermeil will be the keynote speaker at the 12th Annual LifePath and PICPA Thanksgiving Benefit & Awards Luncheon Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Holiday Inn Conference Center, Fogelsville. All proceeds from this event go directly toward enhancing LifePath’s programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities, and will be used exclusively for costs which are not provided for by governmental funding.

 It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas…
Ridge Crest Christmas Shop
October 1-3, 2009
The Ridge Crest “Craft Ladies” will be holding their annual Christmas Shop craft fair Thursday, October 1 from 2 PM till 6 PM; Friday, October 2 from 8:30 AM till 7 PM; and Saturday, October 3 from 8:30 AM till 12 PM at the First Savings Bank Glenwood branch located at 1129 N. 5th Street, Perkasie. The event will feature various crafts for Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas and everyday along with a raffle to win a quilted wall hanging, Lizzie High doll and Christmas basket. There will also be a special 50/30-15-5 raffle. All proceeds from the event benefit LifePath’s Ridge Crest pediatric facility in Sellersville for medically-fragile children.

Souderton Area H.S. Senior To Hold Car Wash to Benefit LifePath
Announcement: The car wash has been postponed due to the prediction of Hurricane Bill residuals hitting our area this weekend. Check back here for a new date soon!
Nicole Wasniewski, a senior at Souderton Area High School, will be holding a car wash as part of her senior project at the Harleysville Walmart on Saturday, August 22, 2009 to raise money for LifePath. The Harleysville Walmart is located between Harleysville Pike (113) and 63. The car wash will take place from 9:00 am till 3:00 pm. Donations are appreciated! Please go out and support Nicole and LifePath!

2009 Golf Outing, Silver Creek Country Club, Hellertown, PA
LifePath held its 23rd annual charity golf outing on August 3, 2009 at Silver Creek County Club in Hellertown. More than 90 registered golfers enjoyed a sun-filled day with great food, contests, raffles and of course, golf! The event grossed more than $30,000 in sponsorships and prizes. We'd like to thank all of the participants, donors, golf planning committee members, volunteers and sponsors who made the event a success.

LifePath PALS Enjoy Fun and Friendship at Summer Luau
LifePath's PALS (Promoting Active Lifestyles) group held a summer luau July 29, 2009 at LifePath's administrative building in Bethlehem. The PALS group meets once a month. Staff demonstrate how consumers can engage in fun ways of living a healthy lifestyle, such as enjoying healthy treats that are super tasty and learning fun ways to move without even realizing it's exercise! Luau participants snacked on grilled fruit and got moving doing the limbo, hula hoop dancing and a ring toss.
