 May 2009  Cigar Fest Raffle Proceeds Result in Another Record-Breaking Donation to LifePath Thanks to our wonderful friends at Cigars International, LifePath received a donation of more than $30,000 as the beneficiary of Cigar Fest 2009's raffle ticket sales. This year’s raffle featured more than $100,000 in prizes ranging from international travel to premium cigar packages and humidors. Cigar Fest is an annual event hosted by Cigars International the first weekend in May at Split Rock Lodge in the Poconos. The consistently sold-out event attracts more than 2500 cigar aficionados from around the world and features more than 30 top cigar makers with samples of their finest, premium blends. The event also includes live music and a southern style BBQ. LifePath cannot begin to thank CI enough for their years of generosity and support of our organization. Lehigh Adult Day Program Celebrates Cinco de Mayo with Fiesta! Consumers and staff at LifePath’s Lehigh adult day program gathered in a very festively-decorated classroom 8 on May 5, 2009 to celebrate the Cinco de Mayo holiday. Guests of the fiesta enjoyed karaoke, a limbo contest, lively music and the “Mexican Hat Dance!” The classroom was also proud to show off its collection of recycled art projects made by the consumers. What a fun way to spend an otherwise rainy and dreary Tuesday!
LifePath’s 23rd Annual Charity Golf Outing To Be Held August 3, 2009 LifePath will hold its 23rd Annual Charity Golf Outing Monday, August 3, 2009 at Silver Creek Country Club, Hellertown, PA with all event proceeds going to support LifePath’s programs and services for individuals with developmental disabilities. The event will feature great raffle prizes, putting and hole-in-one contests, a patio lunch buffet, 18 holes of golf and a dinner reception.
