Sellersville Day Program Has Hauntingly Good Time at Annual Extravaganza
The Sellersville Day Program held their 4th Annual Halloween Extravaganza on Monday, October 31st amidst the local power outages and crises associated with the snow storm from the previous weekend. Spirits (ghosts, perhaps?) were high and a great time was had by all!
The main attraction for the day was the Pumpkin Decorating Contest, which has become a much anticipated event for the staff, consumers and office personnel. This year’s theme was “Haunted House”, so we were delighted by a black cat, a raven, a mummy, a cauldron, a witch, and many more creepy items associated with Haunted Houses. It was a tight race this year, 1st and 2nd Prize were separated by just 1 vote!
Winners:
- First Place went to Rm. 218 (Young Adults) for their Evil Laboratory
- Second Place went to Rm. 205 (Seniors) for their Killer Clown
- Third Prize went to Rm. 207 for their Haunted House
- Fourth Prize went to Rm. 227 for their Two-Faced Pumpkin
A raffle prize was drawn from all of those who voted for our pumpkins. MIS administrator, Kim Sadler, was the lucky recipient of a bucket full of candy!
Consumers came dressed for the occasion and “Best Costume” winners were chosen. They each received a Halloween beach ball for a prize!

Steven as a Joker
Carmella and Janet as Flappers and Nancy as a Mobster
