Ridge Crest

Started in 1974 by a group of concerned parents with special needs children, Ridge Crest is a 33-bed sub-acute care facility located in Sellersville, PA (Bucks County) for medically-fragile or technology-dependent individuals who may or may not have a developmental disability diagnosis.

Ridge Crest serves children and young adults from throughout the Lehigh and Delaware Valleys. Our dedicated and talented staff includes a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who conducts routine rounds ensuring attentive medical care is given to each and every individual. In addition to treatment, individuals also experience a loving and nurturing environment structured with a daily routine complete with educational components, stimulating activities, special services and outings.

Programs and Services:

Transitional Care

For children and young adults who plan on being cared for in the family home, but who may still require some medical or nursing support to make that possible. Highly trained staff provide education and support to help families gain the skills they will need when loved ones return home from medical settings.
Respite Care

A vacation spot for specially-dependent individuals who need to be away from home. Visits range from days to weeks or longer, if needed. Individuals bring all of their personal items, equipment and medications and Ridge Crest provides the rest in a fun, homelike environment.
Residential Long-Term Care

Individuals who come to us as children live and thrive at Ridge Crest until they no longer require round the clock nursing care. The goal of the program is to allow each child the opportunity to reach their fullest potential physically, cognitively, emotionally, spiritually and socially.
Summer Camp

For nine weeks each summer, children with developmental disabilities in need of medical care receive socialization and educational opportunities that are truly once in a lifetime experiences. Activities include trips to the zoo, overnight camping, a day at Sesame Place and swimming.
