Early
Intervention
(birth to three years of age)
LifePath’s Early Intervention program operates on the belief that young children and their families need a strong foundation in order to achieve their hopes and dreams. Instructors and therapists enthusiastically strive to give children the encouragement and support they need to reach their life goals.
Here’s a glimpse of how we support children, their families and caregivers:
Each child’s learning plan is created specifically for their needs.
..................
We teach in the child’s familiar environments, so we come to you. This usually means at home but can be the child care setting and the community.
..................
The child learns while he/she is completing his/her everyday routines.
..................
While children are engaged in purposeful play with our instructors, they are learning lifelong skills.
..................
We believe that school readiness starts at birth.
..................
Parents, siblings, childcare providers, grandparents and caregivers participate in the program with the child. Families and caregivers learn how to support and teach the child during our sessions. This offers the child opportunities to work on the areas of need everyday.
..................
Shhh! Don’t let the children know that they are learning. It might spoil the fun!
..................
Our program provides special instruction, physical therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, and vision & hearing services. We serve infants and toddlers who are under the age of 3 years. Children who are eligible for services have an Individualized Family Support Plan (IFSP). This plan is developed and implemented to support the child’s and his/her caregiver’s needs.

Our early intervention program is growing. If you or someone you know is a certified PT, OT, or SLP and would enjoy working with families, infants and toddlers, please give us a call. We’d love to discuss the opportunities that our program can offer.
